Recent emails by the company have stated that they have received over 2,200 hours of recordings from submitters.
Based on their baseline payout of USD1 per 10 points, and 1 point per minute of audio, that means Pila8 has allocated over USD13,200 worth of points. However, the number is likely much higher, as they constantly run multiplier promotions for new entrants and high demand audio and languages.

Pila8 has expanded their payment systems to send for workers in Nigeria, Kenya, and India

Up to now, Pila8 processed all payments via Stripe. While Stripe is a robust platform, with outreach around the world, it is limited by which countries it serves. India, Kenya, and Nigeria have all been restricted.
Pila8 is opening pathways to new contributors by opening payment via Dots.
Dots is different to most other platforms, as allows payouts via Local Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer, PayPal, Amazon Gift Card, Venmo, or CashApp. The exact payment method available in each country can vary, but in most cases, there is some way to get your money. In fact. based on Dots’ own information, they currently serve 153 countries around the world.
As usual, there will be some kind of fee, and there may be some funds lost due to currency conversion, but it is better than being barred from working because of where you live.
